This weekend I embark on this journey again. 3 Days. 60 Miles. Because Everyone Deserves a Lifetime!
I am honored to be walking with my dear friend Kerrie this year and another dear friend is a crew member. The outpouring of support and love I have received in my fundraising is so moving! Support and love make all the difference in this fight, it certainly isn't a battle one can win alone.
This year like last I began my walk to honor all those in my life who have been hit with this. My Aunt Carole, My Aunt Michelle (who FYI is the toughest woman ever), Erica, Aimee, Kellie, Laurie, My Aunt Nell, Eileen, Linda, Michele, Jeanine and myself. Also so that my list ends there. But this year is also special not only am I walking to honor these amazing woman I am walking to CELEBRATE me! It was 5 years ago this ugly monster and I went head to head! I have so much to celebrate!
After signing to walk again sadly more reasons came to light...a teacher at my childrens school told me of her fathers diagnosis. Men are the forgotten face of this. A friends sister is fighting this for the 3rd time! And a sweet young boy who attends school and plays sports with my children just recently lost his mother - he is 10.
We will end this one day!
My Blog is everything about "My Perfectly Imperfect Life" From breast cancer, to raising 4 kids, living life as an adopted child, cooking for my big ol' family... and so on.... Its not perfect... but it's perfection to me!
About Me
- Janna Coppage
- As a stay at home in theory I should have time to make some glamorous 3 course meal every night... but that's not happening! Not with 4 teenage kids who are super active and me being a full time student. So the cure to my cheer/football/baseball/band mom blues has been anything that will make my life less insane.
